I was very happy with the ramen and omurice we had here. Everything tasted amazing and combo sets were perfect for one person portion. Our table felt private and it's neat and clean. They have a button to call for service and everything was great. I would eat again here.

I remember when Kyuramen opened in Forest Hills. It was after the pandemic. I had eaten at other outlets of the international chain. So the occasion of this expansion was to be noted. I knew I'd eat there at some point. But it was a year before I did so. I will return. You will not do wrong trying it. They have ramen, they have other foodstuffs, they have sake, they have premium beer from Japan. It's all good, as they say. The distinctive feature of the decor are three levels of hexagonal niches, a honeycomb where you can dine and be seen. There also are a set of private booths, suitable for a date. I sat at the bar. I dine alone often; my wife lives on the west coast. There was another fellow, similarly bereft of company. An advantage of any establishment with a bar where you can order food is they are accustomed to the solo eater. There is no stigma. A wheelchair user was nearby too. They are welcoming. The food was excellent. That is the test of course. You cannot sustain a restaurant on a concept. The victuals must be nourishing and tasty. I had the hottest choice. It was not scorching, but had subtlety. They have a standard operating procedure. Their recipes are good, their cooks competent. The other feature to note is that there are power outlets. You can charge your phone or whatever else. Long ago, when laptop computers were new, I went to a place and plugged in. The proprietor told me he wanted calm, put that away. Times have changed. It is good to be able to keep a smartphone ready. I could not help but notice I was the oldest patron. Then a family came in. It is possible the parents were my contemporaries. There is nothing wrong with that; it's merely to note that folks in their fifties and sixties likely will be outliers here.

Hot take- This ramen burger is much better than the rice burger. So crunchy and flavorful. Pairs perfectly with the sweet potato fries.

I went to Kyuramen by myself on a Friday after Working from Home for the day. Walked by the place, saw they had a bar and decided to stop in for a drink and a meal. Place wasn't too busy so I sat at the bar. The host was friendly and sat me immediately. I ordered pan fried dumplings, yinyang ramen and an apple Soon Hari soju. The dumplings were very good but nothing special. The yinyang ramen was terrific and delicious. What made this different is that they put it in a split bowl with one side a spicy ramen with pork and veggies, the other side a regular broth with shrimp tempura and veggies. I really enjoyed it I was going back and forth from each side. I highly recommend this ramen if available. The soju was a great accompaniment to the meal. They were out of original flavor so I got apple, which turned out to be a good choice. Nearly finished the whole bottle lol Then I decided to order a little dessert so I got the machta tiramisu. I actually like this better than traditional tiramisu. The only negative was minor, when checking out it took a while for them to scan my rewards card from app and my credit card. Turns out it was just new guy learning how to use iPad. This Kyuramen has good vibes, great food and drinks.

This spot is a nice addition to the already vibrant food scene in Forest Hills and a great spot for ramen. The restaurant is decently sized with cute honeycomb seating. It wasn't too busy when we got there but it does become bustling around the weekend. It's a chain so the taste is fairly similar to its other locations but my ramen was still delicious! I had my go to - spicy ramen with a takoyaki for app. The ramen was well made and the chashu was really tender and flavorful. The takoyaki was also really great and tasted like your standard takoyaki. Overall, it's a great spot to grab ramen in Forest Hills.

Loveeee Kyu Ramen. The bao buns and thai iced tea are always my favorite but I got the YingYang today!! BOTH ATE DOWN!! Service was fast and it was reasonably priced. Also love the little cubicle we were sat at. The ambiance was cozy and it felt like it was just me & my friends, even though the restaurant was reasonably busy!

I was impressed with the quick service. I went alone on a weekday night, and I got both my spicy ramen and my popcorn chicken within 5 minutes of ordering. I ordered the Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen with a hot level of spice, and it was the perfect amount of spice without making eating the ramen unbearable. The popcorn chicken is always crispy, and I order it almost every time I go. I love adding the seasoning on the table to give that additional spice to go along with my spicy ramen. If you're looking for a more private place to eat, this is the perfect place with the unique booths here.

Came here with my S.O on a Tuesday afternoon. What we got-Kyushu Shoyu Tokatsu Ramen and the Omurice. Kyushu Ramen-4/5-I enjoyed the ramens broth and the noodles! It wasn't mushy at all and had a perfect Al dente touch to it. Omurice-4/5- The rice wasn't as flavorful as expected. I tried the Union sq. Location and I liked their rice with the Egg. Overall, the egg was fluffy and the sauce was yummy. Thai Iced Tea-Very sweet and milky. I should've asked for 30% sugar, but it's okay. Next time ! Service-3/5-Seemed like the workers here were tired. It was a okay experience. Overall-4/5-The first time I tried kyuramen they had better service than this location. I'll see if I'll come back to this location next time.
